Baiyangdian Preserved Duck Egg,also called Hebei Pidan, are mainly produced in Baiyangdian, Anxin County.

The production history started from 100 years ago in Qing Dynasty when local people opened small workshops and sell the eggs to Beijing, Tianjin and Baoding.

The vast water area is taken good use of to raise ducks, who can be fed with fish, shrimps, insects, shells, mussels and algae,so the ducks can produce many big eggs.

Baiyangdian Preserved Duck Egg originates from local Zun duck eggs. After processed with advanced technique and scientific formula, the shelled egg with present brown, translucent and elastic body like an amber with patterns like pine branch.
